From today until 16th October it will be available in streaming the recital with the highlights of Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, recorded at the end of August on the McCaw Hall stage.
This online experience in recital format is a different way of approaching the events of the small Sicilian town in the middle of the 19th century, in a history full of joys and tragedies, which can be lived in an equally intense way in this special format.
Thus, season ticket holders of the Seattle Opera have the opportunity to listen to Gregory Kunde in the role of Turiddu. The cast also includes Alexandra Lobianco as Santuzza, Nerys Jones as Mamma Lucia and Sarah Larsen as Lola, all under the guidance of dramaturg Jonathan Dean and accompanied by the pianist John Keene.
